We understand that without the information and assistance you need, going to college as an adult or veteran can be difficult. The Center for Adult and Veteran Services provides necessary tools to help you reach the highest success in your adult education. As a top military-friendly school, know that our primary mission is to help you navigate the many adult and veteran services, resources, and benefits that are available to you at Kent State University.

Our hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Tuesdays until 7pm.
The CAVS office now has tutoring available to veterans and servicemembers in the following subjects: Math through Intuituve Calculus, including ALEKS math modules, Microeconomics, and Microsoft Excel
A student veteran is available to tutor on a drop-in appointmeny basis in the CAVS office at these times:
Mondays 8:30am-12:30pm. Tuesdays 5:30pm-7pm. Wednesdays 8:30am-1:30pm. Fridays 9am-noon. Other times available by appointment.
Tutoring is free of charge to any veteran, servicemember, or dependent who needs assistance. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
