Athletics Profile

Since 2014, Kent State's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has received 22 conference awards, 26 team awards, 59 individual awards and 13 academic awards. They have received the coveted Cartwright Award honor three times in the last seven years.

Academic Awards

Award-winning student athletes at Kent State University boast impressive GPAs. They have received the Cartwright Award honor three times in the last seven years, the most of any program in the MAC and there are several Academic All-Americans.

Conference Awards

Kent State has received several conference awards, including 13 Coach of the Year awards since 2014.  The Reese Trophy, the Jacoby Trophy and the Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup have been awarded the past three years as well.

Individual Athlete Awards

Since 2014 Kent State University teams have made 14 NCAA appearances and won 12 Mid-American Conference (MAC) tournament titles.
