Search for Vice President for Enrollment Management

Dear Members of the Kent State University Community,

I write to update you on our search for Kent State’s next vice president for enrollment management. The vice president serves as the senior officer providing overall executive leadership and management of the Division of Enrollment Management and leads a university-wide enrollment effort that is highly coordinated with, and responsive to, the needs of the colleges and campuses.

The search is chaired by Melody Tankersley, Ph.D., senior vice president and provost. Serving on the search committee are Brenda Burke, associate vice president for enrollment management, student financial aid; Andrew Crawford, Ed.D., associate vice president for strategic enrollment management for Regional Campuses; Pamela Grimm, Ph.D., chair of Faculty Senate and professor of marketing and entrepreneurship; Lamar R. Hylton, Ph.D., senior vice president for student affairs; Ebone Jones, senior majoring in theatre design, technology and production; Darin Olson, assistant professor of music and director of athletic bands; Eboni Pringle, Ph.D., dean of University College; Jeannie Reifsnyder, senior associate vice president for finance and administration; Wayne Schneider, director of institutional research; and Todd Snider, assistant vice president for marketing strategy in the Division of University Communications and Marketing. The committee is charged with recruiting and screening top candidates and recommending finalists for campus interviews in late February.

I encourage you to learn more about the search on the search website and invite you to complete a community survey that will be helpful to the committee as it conducts its work. Your participation also will be appreciated in the public presentations during campus visits, which will be announced in February.

Sincerely,

Todd Diacon
President
