About Faith

Faith Sheaffer-Polen has spent her professional and personal life in the world of teaching and training. After shadowing a grade school music teacher for a week, she realized that working with people over the age of 18 was the best choice for her and for her students! Within 4 years of starting her professional career, Faith found her home in the world of professional development, training and coaching. She is committed to the idea that education in any form can be life-changing and devotes herself to doing her best to make that happen for others. As the newest addition to the HR Training and Development team, she brings a wealth of experience in corporate training, adjunct teaching, in-depth needs analysis and professional coaching. In addition, she has a reputation for being a “relationship builder," connecting people to needed resources and to each other. She continues to educate herself on emerging trends in the workplace, in current leadership skills, and on research in adult learning.

In addition, to various training certifications, Faith holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Kent State University and a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from The University of Akron.

She is looking forward to having a new commute that takes her directly past a Dunkin’ Donut coffee stop and avoids Belden Village holiday traffic jams.
