Kent State University students attempt to get the attention of cheerleaders who were throwing T-shirts into the crowd during the Homecoming football game.
Kent State alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and the community are invited to take part in one of the university’s long-standing traditions. Student events will occur the week leading up to Homecoming on all eight Kent State campuses throughout Northeast Ohio.

 Kent State University School of Theatre and Dance and Porthouse Theatre alumna – the Tony Award-winning Broadway performer Alice Ripley – performs songs from The Who's "Tommy" with senior musical theatre students at the 50th Anniversary Blossoming Gala.
The Kent Blossom programs, which include Kent Blossom Music Festival, Kent Blossom Art Intensives and Porthouse Theatre, have touched more than 100,000 students and audience members' lives over the course of five decades.

After hearing about a recent outbreak of hand, foot and mouth disease at the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, Kent State University at Trumbull nursing students sprang into action to help replace children’s books and toys that were lost when the building was sanitized.  
The Williamson House is the home of the Women's Center, which is celebrating the impact of women throughout Kent State's history.
The Women's Center wants to celebrate not just the women who come into the center, but decades of women who have left a legacy at Kent State.
