Financial Wellness: Investment Planning

As part of our continued commitment to building financial wellness, the Employee Wellness office is pleased to present Investment Planning Strategies on Tuesday, Dec. 11, from noon-1 p.m. in Room 107 of Heer Hall on the Kent Campus.

This seminar will explain basic and advanced investing topics to achieve specific financial goals. In this seminar, we will go through the basics of investing and cover topics, such as:

  • The difference between saving and investing.
  • The importance of compound interest.
  • The different type of investments available (stocks, bonds, mutual funds and annuities).
  • Building an investment portfolio that is appropriate for you. 

A light lunch will be provided for attendees. Space is limited, and registration is required. If you find you are unable to attend after registering prior to Dec. 11, please cancel your registration immediately.
