Online final grading for fall 2017 First 7 Weeks (W1) begins Thursday, Oct. 12, via FlashFAST. Grading is also now available for any fall 2017 course section that was flexibly scheduled. The deadline for grading submission is midnight on Tuesday, Oct. 24. Any final grades for fall 2017 courses not reported in FlashFAST by the grades processing deadline will have to be submitted using the Grade Change Workflow. These fall 2017 courses will be available in the Workflow on Thursday, Oct. 26.

Theodore Albrecht, Ph.D., professor of musicology in Kent State University’s Hugh A. Glauser School of Music, has been awarded the Beethoven Medal in recognition of his musicological contributions to the study of composer Ludwig van Beethoven.

The Outstanding Teaching Award is presented by the University Teaching Council.
