Coordinator, Admissions and Scholarships
Coordinating admissions and scholarships for the Honors College and serving as an Honors College advisor
WORKED AT KENT STATE SINCE:
EMPLOYMENT PRIOR TO KENT STATE UNIVERSITY:
I previously served as the director of undergraduate programs for the University of Akron’s College of Engineering. I coordinated their recruitment, admissions, scholarships, student organizations and often advised incoming freshmen regarding majors. Prior to my time at the University of Akron, I was an academic advisor at West Virginia University.
LIKES MOST ABOUT KENT STATE UNIVERSITY:
The students, of course! The students in Kent State’s Honors College are striving to add more than just a degree to their résumé.
ATTRACTION TO KENT STATE UNIVERSITY AS AN EMPLOYER:

I am a new mom, so much of my time is spent learning this new role and enjoying watching my daughter grow. I also enjoy the movies, Netflix and exploring the local walking trails and Summit MetroParks with my family.
