You Added Your Voice, Now Hear the Results

Last spring, the Kent State University community was asked to complete a survey to identify strengths and barriers related to being a welcoming, engaging place that nurtures a culture of inclusiveness and respect. Now it’s time to hear the findings.

Rankin & Associates Consulting has analyzed the data from more than 8,000 Kent State faculty, staff and students who answered the survey, and the consultants will be coming to Kent State to present the results on Jan. 23 and 24. All are encouraged to attend one of the three open sessions either in person or via live stream:

After the presentations, three survey reports (Regional Campuses, Kent Campus and an aggregate report for all campuses) will be posted at www.kent.edu/voices. While these reports will be available for independent review, Climate Study Steering Committee Co-Chairs Shay Little, vice president for student affairs, and Kathryn Wilson, professor of economics, encourage faculty and staff to attend one of the presentations. During these sessions, the consultants from Rankin & Associates will be available to highlight the most important findings, provide context for the reports and offer opportunities to ask questions. Little and Wilson also suggest faculty and staff invite students to attend one of the presentations.
