Congrats to Exercise Physiology doctoral student Chen Li for winning first place in the 2025 American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Aging Interest Group Student Research Award.
The awards program recognizes exemplary achievements by promising students and early-career scientists in the field of aging and exercise. This year's theme is "The Global Power of Movement: Translating Lab Bench to Park Bench."
Li presented a poster titled, "Impact of Session-by-Session Adaptive Dynamic Cycling on Hand Tremor in People with Parkinson’s Disease."
Li will receive the award during an upcoming ceremony at the Georgia World Congress Center Authority in Atlanta, where the top three finalists will give a brief synopsis of their work during the networking portion of the Aging Interest Group meeting.
The AIG Awards Committee scored each abstract based on scientific quality and contribution to the field of aging using a standard scoresheet. For the student award, the top three finalists were determined based on the highest average ranked scores.
