Lunch and Learn Coffee Break Stretching

Turn your coffee break into a healthy wake-up for your body and mind. Learn some quick stretches and yoga poses you can do throughout the day to keep your muscles limber, your joints moving and your mind clear.

Yoga and stretching is a great way to maintain health and reduce stress. Come to Heer Hall, Room 107, on Feb. 24 from noon-1 p.m., and learn techniques that will energize you during those afternoon slumps or calm you after a challenging meeting. 

The presenter will be Judith Eugene of Impact Solutions, Kent State University's Employee Assistance Program provider.  

Registration is required.  A complimentary light lunch will be provided for all participants.

The Kent State University Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the university’s 13th president.

 

The events of May 4, 1970, placed Kent State University in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, Kent State remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
