Dr. Angela Guercio Receives Award for Paper at 16th ICMDS/WDET

Dr. Angela Guercio recently presented the paper "Barriers to Distance in Web Accessibility for Persons with Blindness and Visual Impairment" at the 16th International Conference on Multimedia Distributed Systems in the Workshop on Distance Education Technology. The paper was co-authored with Master's student K. Stirbens and undergraduate students J. Williams and C. Haiber.
The paper also received the first place award, and the authors were invited to expand it for the International Journal of Distance Education Technologies (IJDET).
