Placement for History M.A. Graduates

Although the vast majority of our M.A. program graduates go on to doctoral study in history, a number also choose law school or advanced work in another discipline.  And some program graduates, especially those in our Public History program, use their educations as springboards to full-time employment.  In recent years, M.A. graduates have gone on to further study or found permanent employment at the following institutions:

Placement for History Ph.D. Graduates

Graduates of our doctoral program have been similarly successful in securing permanent professional positions within a few years of graduation.  Most secure jobs at colleges and universities, no doubt helped by the independent teaching experience they acquire as part of our program.  Graduates have also found permanent public sector employment.  Recent graduates of our doctoral program are employed by:
