We use high resolution microscopy methods to study DNA structure and DNA-protein interactions at the single molecule level. Non-canonical DNA structures, such as G-quadruplexes, and interaction of proteins or small molecules with such structures are among the active research areas in our laboratory. DNA-protein and protein-protein interactions in the context of DNA repair are other fields that we have dedicated our efforts. High resolution fluorescence microscopy methods, such as single molecule FRET, are the main tools we use for our studies.
