The Department of Psychology at Kent State University, offering Undergraduate and
Graduate Degrees and Majors in Psychology,
is an innovative center of research, teaching, and community service.
Our faculty are internationally recognized for their research. Our Ph.D. program offers training in the areas of Behavioral Neuroscience, Clinical, Cognitive, Developmental, Health, and Social. The Clinical program allows specialization in adult psychopathology, assessment, child clinical, clinical health psychology, and clinical neuropsychology.
Undergraduates can earn a BA degree in Psychology. Our department offers a diverse set of courses and opportunities for students to become involved in research with our faculty and graduate students. The degree prepares students for graduate school and employment in a range of fields, including clinical, applied and experimental areas of psychology and related fields such as education, law, business, human services, and health care.

Kent State Recognizes Outstanding Research and Scholar Award Recipients on March 19
Three Kent State University faculty members will be recognized during a ceremony on March 19 as the university honors its Outstanding Research and Scholar Award recipients. The recipients of the 2013 award are Michael Loderstedt, School of Art; Katherine Rawson, Department of Psychology; and Carrie Schweitzer, Department of Geology, Kent State University at Stark.

Pack your lunch and join us! The Department of Psychology encourages students, faculty, and staff to attend any, or all, of the upcoming Brown Bag Lunches. Eva Lefkowitz, Associate Professor from Penn State University, will be hosted at 1:00 p.m. in room 224 Kent Hall. Bryan Jones, Assistant Professor at KSU, Ashtabula, will follow at 2:30 p.m. in room 145.
