Required Advising policy for Summer and Fall 2012 admits

KSU Undergraduate students admitted during summer 2012, fall 2012, or spring 2013 are required to meet with their academic advisor in the College once per semester.

To avoid future registration delays, you should schedule an appointment to meet with your College academic advisor BEFORE you are able to schedule for fall 2013 classes. Meeting with your academic advisor will ensure that you (1) stay on track academically (help you review and update your GPS plan) and (2) discuss your ideas for future coursework.

  • To schedule an individual appointment, visit the College Advising website (up to) two weeks in advance to select a time to meet with your academic advisor in 105 Bowman Hall (if you are a Learning Communities student, see below).  See http://www.kent.edu/cas/undergraduate/advising/.

Please note that if you are participating in the A&S Residential College (Science, Social Science, or Humanities Learning Communities), you will schedule an appointment to meet with your advisor in Wright Hall (Ms. Karen Clement).

Please contact the College office at 330-672-2062 during normal business hours or email your academic advisor (check Flashline for his/her name) if you have questions.
