Ph.D., University of Hawaii at Manoa, 1995.  Research interests include Network based applications and systems, internet, computer networks, High performance computation and communication, parallel and distributed computing, multimedia transmission and communication, image database, content-based image search, design extraction of complex systems, associative information retrieval, medical imaging, fault-tolerant parallel algorithms.
