I began attending Kent State in fall of 2008 and am currently a combined BA/MA student in geography. I graduate with my bachelor's in May of 2012 and will matriculate into the master's program next fall. I am working on an official thesis topic in the area of air masses and air quality int he Grand Canyon and Southwest Region.
A big interest of my is volunteering. I have been working with Junior Achievement Worldwide since fall of 2009. My main activity is volunteering in the classroom, teaching seventh and eighth grade students financial literacy, decision making skills, and entrepreneurship. In summer of 2011, I volunteered for International Student Volunteers and worked on a habitat restoration project that was lead the Australian Ecosystem Foundation. I also volunteer on various other projects within my local community.
