CALL FOR PAPERS AND POSTERS

On April 27, 2013, Walsh University will host a conference designed for undergraduate students studying Political Science and/or International Relations.  We invite all interested students to present* a paper or a poster in any subfield of the discipline.  In addition, we will offer sessions on “What to Expect in Graduate School” and “What to Expect in Law School.”   Dr. Paul Beck, Professor Emeritus of The Ohio State University will be the featured guest speaker.  Join us and:

·   Hear what your peers are thinking on the same issues

·   Meet other politically-minded students

·   Build your resume or graduate school application credentials

·   Receive feedback on research ideas and projects

·   Strengthen your presentation skills and confidence

Lodging will be provided (free of charge) for presenting students who need it. Travel grants are also available.

Registration for a presenter is due by April 5, 2013.   Papers are due byApril 18, 2013.

Proposals should include a provisional title, an abstract of your paper, your name, and how to contact you – including an email address. This information should be sent to

*A presentation is a brief (10-15 minute) synopsis of your paper, research, and

  primary findings.
