Kent State Council of Teachers of Mathematics
The purpose of the affiliate of the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics shall be:
a. to promote an interest and an awareness of mathematics throughout the KSU community.
b. to provide a social and intellectual environment to all students interested in mathematics
education.
c. to engage in extra-curricular mathematics education-related activities.
d. to expose students to interesting and meaningful topics in mathematics education that
they would not normally encounter in the classroom or in the field.
e. to invite guests to speak to the club on mathematics topics and career options in
mathematics education.
