All student employees will adhere to the following guidelines:

• All new employees to Recreation and Wellness Services will attend New Hire Orientation Training within one month of being hired.
• Complete their self – evaluation and have an evaluation with their primary supervisor once per semester.
• Participate in a Flashes GROW (Guided Reflection on Work) once per semester. More information can be at www.kent.edu/career/flashes-grow.
• Maintain current certification (CPR / AED (2 years), Bloodborne Pathogens (1 year), and ALICE Training. Specific work areas also have other specific certifications that need to be current, such as Lifeguard certification, PCI Compliance Training, etc.
