Dean Skinner
Biography
Dean has worked in the advertising, marketing, creative industry for over 30 years. Most recently, he was Chief Creative & Marketing Officer of the world’s leading audiobook provider who sold to Spotify in June of 2022. Prior to that, Dean was a 20+ year ad agency veteran, most notably being Group Creative Director for Publicis Groupe, one of the oldest and largest marketing and communications companies in the world, headquartered in Paris, France. As a result, Dean has had the privilege of working on some of the world’s best known brands, including Nationwide Insurance, Pirelli Tire, Under Armour, Fossil, Lean Cuisine, Stouffer’s, Hot Pockets, and Toyota Motor Corporation.
Dean’s work has earned over 20 national and international awards in creative, advertising and marketing excellence, as well as has been recognized by numerous industry publications, including Ad Age’s “Top Ten Cool Branded iPhone Apps for 2009” for an iPhone app that Dean and his team created for Nationwide Insurance.
Dean is also an artist and an author of supernatural thrillers. His latest book, Faithful, was number one of four of Amazon’s best seller lists, while Healed (published in June of 2021) was number one on six of Amazon’s best seller lists and continues to remain within multiple best seller lists to this day. As an artist, Dean has been featured in galleries throughout the US and the UK, and has been commissioned by numerous NFL athletes, including former Cleveland Browns quarterback, Baker Mayfield and All-Pro running back, Derrick Henry.
