Scholarships for Future Students

The application window for CCI Scholarships is now open for 2024-2025!

Students are encouraged to file the FAFSA now that the Department of Education has opened the application for the 2024-2025 academic year. To ensure maximum financial aid eligibility, complete the FAFSA no later than February 1, 2024.

While not all scholarships are open every semester, a wide-range of opportunities exist with varying criteria such as financial need, academic merit, program specific, or activities and interests. The application window for the 2024-2025 award cycle (summer 2024, fall 2024, spring 2025) opens on October 1, 2023 and will close on February 29, 2024. Be aware that internal scholarships throughout Kent State University as well as opportunities external to KSU may still be available for 2023-2024. Please see the Financial, Billing and Enrollment Center website for more information.

Kent State's ScholarshipUniverse is the search portal that helps match students to scholarships. To get started, you will need to complete a Student Profile. The questions asked will help match you to scholarships. While you do not have to answer all of these questions – the more you answer, the better your search results. In addition, ScholarshipUniverse is able to match students to external scholarship opportunities.  Students will need to complete a separate application for each scholarship.
