The Honors College is currently accepting nominations for the 2014 Distinguished Honors Faculty Award.

Each year Honors students and alumni have the opportunity to recognize excellence in Honors teaching by submitting nominations for the Distinguished Honors Faculty Award.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. All Honors faculty members are eligible for consideration including part-time temporary instructors and Honors faculty at regional campuses.
  2. A faculty member must have taught a minimum of three Honors courses to be eligible (courses included supervising Senior Honors Theses and Individual Honors Work).

Selection Process:

Nominations are evaluated by student members of the Honors College Policy Council and the Dean. Years of service, advising of independent work, and a proven record of strong teaching performance are considered in the selection of the award winner.

The recipient will be honored at the spring Senior Honors Luncheon on April 12, 2014.
