Kent State University at Stark will host the 2013 Stark County Spring College Fair on Tuesday, March 12 from 6â€“7:30 p.m. in The University Center, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township. This event is free and open to the public. No reservations are required and parking is free.
With more than 50 colleges and universities represented, the college fair is an ideal event for high school students who are interested in attending a college after high school or enrolling in pre-college programs. Prospective non-traditional students looking for degree options and information should also attend the college fair.
In addition to speaking to college and university representatives, the following sessions will be offered:
6:15 p.m. â€“ Funding Your Education
Receive valuable information on how to apply for financial assistance and available scholarships.
6:45 p.m. â€“ Pre-College Programs
Students and their parents can learn more about pre-college programs, such as dual enrollment options (PSEOP, Senate Bill 140)
