Best Practices: Affordable Care Act on February 5

The Corporate University, Kent State University at Stark is offering a series of four panel discussions to address best practices in the workplace. Each program is scheduled to take place from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. at The University Center, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township.

The first panel discussion in the series, the Affordable Care Act, will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014.
 
Join the panelists in a discussion regarding updates to the Affordable Care Act, how they are handling health care challenges in their respective areas and what they advise for business owners and individuals.
 
Panelists include Mark Capuano, employee benefits product manager and certified healthcare reform specialist at Huntington Insurance; Terri Wilfong, human resources director at Biery Cheese; and Paul Malesick, attorney at law at Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths and Dougherty. Moderating the panel discussion will be Mike Novelli, vice president of health care reform at Aultcare.
 
The remaining panel discussions in the series will cover the following topics:

  • Tips and Tricks of the HR Professional on May 7, 2014
  • Outboarding on August 6, 2014
  • Challenging People and Situations on November 5, 2014
