CET Student Capstone Presentations & Demo

Students from the CET capstone class will present the following projects:

• Salt Car: Everyone is busy during the winter months, the last thing anyone needs to do is get an injury due to slipping and falling on ice. Through our RC salt car project, we hope to help salt sidewalks and driveways throughout the winter months to help prevent those injuries.
• AI Facial Recognition Mailbox System for Keyless Access: The AI Facial Recognition Mailbox project aims to eliminate traditional key-based access to apartment mailboxes by implementing a secure and convenient facial recognition system.
• Cart Valet: Revolutionizing the retail experience, our Cart Valet initiative aims to transform the task of cart retrieval by autonomously guiding abandoned shopping carts from parking lots to designated returns within stores.
• Automated Greenhouse System: This project, as an automated greenhouse system, would enable users to grow and maintain domestic plants with minimum direct input, thereby alleviating the responsibilities placed on the average person.
