Upgrades to the Financial Aid Dashboard

The FlashLine Self-Service portal for financial aid and scholarships, called the “Financial Aid Dashboard,”  has been upgraded to provide enhanced navigation and a more user-friendly look and feel. 

The Dashboard is where students can view and accept their financial aid and scholarships and see their specific financial aid information.

All existing financial aid capabilities are still available.

Four students in the Long Term Care Administration (LTCA) Program who participated in The Legacy Project, celebrated a book launch this week during a lunch ceremony at Maplewood Senior Living in Cuyahoga Falls. The students combined their elders' stories into a paperback titled, "Connecting the Pieces of Our Lives," an 88-page collection of four life stories of elders living in Northeast Ohio. Through periodic meetings, elders at Maplewood shared stories, uncovered common interests and formed meaningful connections with students. Meet Carrie Schweitzer, Ph.D., a professor in the Department of Earth Sciences at Kent State University, who since 2000 has been conducting research while teaching geology at Kent State University’s Stark Campus. Her expertise lies in evolution, decapods, crustacea, and invertebrate paleontology.
