Dog Days of Summer
Did you know that at one point the beloved mascot of Kent State was a Golden Retriever ? Our love for dogs and Kent State go way back. You and your pup (s) are invited to join us for a dog walk around the Kent Campus. See what's new on campus while walking along a designated doggie route. We will have both a long and short walk so dogs of all ability can paw-ticipate! After the walk, dogs in attendance will be recognized with a degree in Barkology.
If you can't make it to campus for Dog Days of Summer, you can still join in on the fun virtually by taking your dog for a walk on Saturday, Aug. 7. Share your photos on social media by tagging #FlashesForever and #FlashesFurever.
In Person Cost: $10 for each furry friend (This fee includes dog treats, a special gift for your pup, snacks and a $5 donation to the Kent State Police Department's K-9 Program Fund. All donations directly support K-9s Coco and Dexter, helping with necessary training, equipment, food and medical care.)
