About Todd Mesek
As CMO of ideastream, Todd is responsible for branding, marketing and development. Mesek brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, branding, market research, sales and communications to ideastream. Prior to ideastream, he served as Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, where he led audience development and branding initiatives that resulted in 11.6% compounded annual attendance growth between 2014 and 2017. Mesek spearheaded marketing for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductions and managed partnerships with HBO, SiriusXM, USA Today and the Huffington Post. Under Mesek’s leadership, the Rock Hall drove innovations in online engagement, packaging, influencer marketing and more.
He has also served in account management roles at marketing agencies, including Wyse Advertising, Vantage One Communications and Marketing Directions. He has managed campaigns for brands including American Greetings, Applebee's Restaurants, BP, General Electric, Glidden Paints, Kelly Services, Kendall Motor Oil, KeyBank, Renaissance Hotels and Smuckers.
He’s active in the Northeast Ohio community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Cleveland International Film Festival as well as the Professional Advisory Board for the Kent State University Journalism & Mass Communications School.
Mesek lives in Lakewood, Ohio with his wife, Camelia, and their two sons.
