Two-Year College Preparation Program

The College Preparation program is a two-year course of study that concentrates on student development and improvement of academic and social skills in order to prepare for a degree program. Students will focus on preparing to move into more rigorous academic postsecondary degree programs.

The College Preparation program is designed for students to work on the skills necessary to take college-level courses. It is typically the first introduction to the college environment and taking coursework without the accommodations and modifications students were accustomed to in high school. Students take Kent State primary courses and gain the skills necessary to succeed in college courses with the goal of enrolling in a degree seeking program at Kent State University or elsewhere.
