What is your current occupational position or career, and what are your job responsibilities?

As a proud graduate of Kent State University's EVAL/RMS program, I've transitioned into the role of assistant professor, focusing on conducting impactful research, publishing scholarly work, and contributing to the academic community. The program provided me with a robust foundation in theory and practice, enabling me to adeptly apply rigorous evaluation techniques across diverse educational settings. My responsibilities include designing innovative research projects, skillfully analyzing data, and guiding students through their academic and research journeys.

How did the EVAL/RMS program prepare you to obtain or advance in your career? 

The immersive experiences and mentorship from esteemed faculty, including exceptional professors, have been instrumental in igniting my passion for research and evaluation in education. The emphasis on real-world applications and the celebration of diversity have played pivotal roles in nurturing my professional development.

What did you most enjoy about the EVAL/RMS program, or being a student at Kent State University?
