Kent State University President Beverly Warren is the recipient of the 2016 National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Region IV-East award for her outstanding performance as a university president. 
Kent State Associate Lecturer Joseph Karpinski received the 2016 University Teaching Council’s Outstanding Teaching Award. Karpinski is surrounded by his students who witnessed the award presentation.
