Haithem Zourrig, Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Kent State University at Stark

Haithem Zourrig, assistant professor in the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at Kent State Stark, and his co-author Mengxia Zhang, professor of marketing at University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China, have received a Best Paper Award in Cross-cultural and Global Marketing Track, at the Society for Marketing Advances (SMA) conference Nov. 2-5, 2016. The paper is entitled “The Perceived Deceptiveness of Insurance Fraud” and investigates how culture could influence consumers' perceptions of fraudulent behaviors ranging from tolerance to disapproval.
