KNOW is a personal and professional development program for business women in the Greater Akron region. The mission is to cultivate the talent within each other by reaching out to today’s women executives and tomorrow’s leaders.
Kent State University football player Jordan Italiano, a senior safety from Canfield, Ohio, has been selected by the National Football Foundation as a 2015 National Scholar-Athlete and finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy presented by Fidelity Investments. Italiano is the first Kent State player to earn the honor.
StoryCorps, the pioneering oral history project, has launched “The Great Thanksgiving Listen” – its most ambitious initiative to date. WKSU and Kent State University are promoting the project in hopes of encouraging high school and college students throughout Northeast Ohio to participate.
