Dec. 9: David Hacker is an associate professor in the Department of Geology at Kent State University at Trumbull. His main area of focus deals with mega-landslides in volcanic events. His book, Earth’s Natural Hazards: Understanding Natural Disasters and Catastrophes is one of the standard textbooks in the field.
