About flashLITE

flashLITE promotes wellness through a combination of classroom and hands-on activities.  

A typical week includes coursework, personal training sessions, group activities, and Special Event Fridays- a collection of speakers, activities and events with local celebrities.

We expect that students will take 2 courses:

  • Fit & Well will be taught by the Department of Exercise Science and cover important topics such as exercise, nutrition, and basic physiology. 
  • The Psychology of Exercise is hosted by the Department of Psychology and teaches the skills needed to adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
