Where is your hometown?
I am from Cairo, Egypt.
Why did you choose Kent State University?
KSU has one of the best programs in Arabic translation.
What do you like most about living in/near Kent? Do you have a favorite local spot or activity?
My favorite spots are the library and the student center.
What is your favorite KSU memory?
My favorite memory is getting my MA degree here at Kent State University.
What are some differences you've noticed in being a graduate student (expectations, pressures, visibility, etc.) than those of an undergraduate student?
Graduate life requires much more planning and studying.
What advice do you have for incoming graduate students?
I would advise them to try and achieve a work-life balance.
