
Olesia Pavlenko is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Teaching English as a Second Language at Kent State University. She is a recipient of the 2021-2022 David B. Smith Scholarship and the National Federation of Modern Language Teachers Association (NFMLTA)/ National Council of Less Commonly Taught Languages (NCOLCTL) Graduate Students Research Support Award. Olesia’s research interests include second language acquisition, interaction, and game-based learning. Her career goals include becoming a professor and working in the area of Applied Linguistics.
