Please give a short overview of your research:

My dissertation topic is the introduction of Sartre and Camus in Taiwan and mainland China during the Cold War.

What made you choose to pursue your graduate degree here at Kent State?

I am passionate about translation studies. Kent State University has the best translation studies program and best teachers.

What do you enjoy most about attending Kent State for graduate school?

My advisor is great and very insightful. My professors are masters in their own fields. They are very kind and knowlegable.

What are your future goals?

I want to be a translation scholar and a professor.

What does this award mean to you and how will it aid you?

This award means a lot to me. This award means that I and my research are recognized. I am offered an opportunity to teach a course in the fall semester, which can help me find a job. The fellowship can help me focus on my research and publish more good papers.
