Assistant Professor of art history Joseph Underwood received an Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant for his book titled "Forging a New Contemporary: Art from Senegal in Transnational Networks, 1974-1984." This book examines the content of a Senegalese contemporary art exhibition.
