Remembering Jacqueline Ross, '80

Jacqueline “Jackie” Ross, ’80, of California and Ohio, passed away on May 6, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jackie’s schooling at Kent State University and Stanford University led to a string of Silicon Valley opportunities with established companies and start-ups. Her successful marketing career allowed her to give back through numerous philanthropic endeavors, reflecting the same generosity and drive that marked her personal and professional life.

Known for her adventurous spirit, Jackie traveled extensively, exploring beautiful destinations around the world while also embracing the simple pleasures in life, from hiking through local parks to wandering museum galleries. She approached life with curiosity, warmth and a dedication to both family and community.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Theresa (Hudimac) Ross. She is survived by her brother, John (Christie) Ross; her sisters, Cynthia Majercik and Karen Ross; and her nephew and niece, Christopher and Claire. Her family, friends and colleagues remember her for her intelligence, kindness and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
