Becky Lehman, MPH, MPA, CHES

Becky Lehman, MPH, MPA, CHES, serves as Health Commissioner for the Portage County Health District (PCHD). Becky has been a dedicated member of the PCHD team for 15+ years. In those 15 years, Becky was a Health Educator before becoming the Director of both the Health Education and Promotion Division and the Community Health Division. Becky further excelled in her role as Deputy Health Commissioner, strengthening her leadership and impact within the health district.

Becky’s background includes a Master of Public Health, a Master of Public Administration, and certification as a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). She has vast experience in grant writing, public health education, quality improvement, emergency preparedness, strategic planning, and community engagement. She also played a pivotal role in the Health District achieving national public health accreditation.

In addition, Becky has been an Adjunct Facilitator in the Integrated Health Studies and Health Sciences program since 2014 teaching Careers in Health Sciences and Human Services and Professional Seminar.
