Biography

Tyana Dukes is a passionate educator and student success advocate who is dedicated to assisting students pursuing higher education. Tyana has a background in human development and family studies, so she understands the issues that students encounter and works hard to provide them with the resources and advice they need to succeed academically. 

Position

Tyana's responsibilities as Academic Program Coordinator for the Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) include assisting eligible adult learners in overcoming barriers to higher education. This consists of academic advising, career counseling, and resource coordination to assist students with the admissions process and college preparation.  

Experience

Tyana brings significant expertise in student support services, having worked with diverse student populations in both academic and developmental roles. Her work has spanned from individual counseling to coordinating academic programs, with the goal of providing opportunity for students to prosper.
