A Diverse Kent State

Priority #2
A Diverse Kent State

Create a diverse learning environment through the recruitment and retention of a diverse student body, faculty, and staff.

To ensure a climate where all students, faculty and staff can thrive, survive and flourish, the Kent State community is working to increase diverse representation, create and sustain equality of opportunity and intentionally foster an inclusive and equitable environment. We envision a Kent State that empowers individuals, expands opportunities and meaningfully honors all voices. By cultivating attitudes, systems and structures that promote equitable decisions and practices, we hope to engage all members in building an inclusive community where everyone knows that they are valued.
