With the city of Kent, the university hosted the Housing Summit to review the Comprehensive Community Housing Study and Needs Analysis.

The Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative (CUDC) examined the relationships between two cities-Cleveland, Ohio and Havana, Cuba. The 15-week studio, which took place in the spring of 2016, was sponsored by the Cleveland Foundation.

Kent State Students participated in Inter-University Council Student Advocacy Day at the Ohio State House.

The university hosted the annual Town-Gown Dinner on June 22, 2016 to celebrate our collaborative spirit and relationship.
