Biography

Bridget Worman is native to northeast Ohio and a proud two-time graduate of Kent State University, having studied English and School Counseling. In her free time, she enjoys working through her ever-growing list of books to read and spending time with her husband and two cats.

Position

In her current role in the University of Outreach and Engagement, she serves as an advisor for College Credit Plus students, grades 7-12, at the Kent campus. Bridget assists students in choosing courses that will work toward their high school graduation requirements as well as future degrees of interest.

Experience

Bridget discovered her love of academic advising during her time working with College Credit Plus while completing her graduate program at Kent State. She's passionate about helping students be successful in navigating the start of their college careers as well as taking advantage of the many resources and opportunities we have to offer here at Kent State. Her experience in studying school counseling for adolescents has allowed her to particularly enjoy working with our CCP students while integrating a career in higher education.
