The Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas will announce their thirteenth season on June 10 during an unveiling event held at the Performing Arts Center. The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. with the formal unveiling, followed immediately after by a reception in the lobby. The event is free and open to Performing Arts Center members. In the summer of 2021, as the Taliban took over Afghanistan, many Afghans fled the country. Some landed in Akron, which has one of the largest refugee resettlement programs in Ohio.
