Kent State University at Stark will host the annual Turkey Trot, an adult 5K and a children’s ¼ mile Fun Run, on Saturday, Nov. 18. The events will be held on Kent State Stark’s beautiful, 200-acre campus, located at 6000 Frank Ave. NW in Jackson Township. The Kids Fun Run begins at 8:30 a.m. Registration takes place on the day of the event, beginning at 7:30 a.m., at Kent State Stark’s Recreation & Wellness Center. Kent State University at Stark’s 2017-18 theatrical season kicks off with Consider the Oyster by David MacGregor. The play will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10, 11, 17 and 18 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 12 and 19 at the Kent State Stark Theatre. Kent State University at Stark is transformed into “Boo U” on Oct. 26 for an evening of family-friendly fun. Kent State Stark will host the ninth annual educational fall celebration for elementary school-aged children from 5 to 7 p.m. at its campus, 6000 Frank Ave. NW in Jackson Township.
