Kent State Graduates 352 Nursing Students During National Nurses Week

Kent State University’s College of Nursing graduated 352 nursing students at Spring Commencement ceremonies on May 9-10 in the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center) on the Kent Campus. Held during National Nurses Week, the 195 bachelor of science in nursing degree (BSN) and 157 Master of Science in Nursing  (MSN) degree graduates have now officially begun their professional careers as nurses.

Kent State University congratulates its new graduates. The university held its Spring 2014 Commencement ceremonies for the Kent Campus on May 9 and May 10 at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center). This spring, Kent State conferred 3,820 degrees, including 2,811 bachelor’s degrees, 860 master's degrees, 144 doctoral degrees and five educational specialist degrees. 

Across the university's eight-campus system, 4,551 students graduated from Kent State this spring, including those receiving associate degrees.

Kent State University will hold its Spring 2014 Commencement ceremonies for the Kent Campus on Friday, May 9, and Saturday, May 10, at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center) and on Friday, May 16, at Cartwright Hall. Kent State will confer 3,820 degrees, including 2,811 bachelor’s degrees, 860 master’s degrees, 144 doctoral degrees and five educational specialist degrees.
